How to Start MCL-Net V4

Overview

 

Depending on your choices during the MCL-Net V4 installation process (if the "Start Menu and Desktop Shortcuts" option is checked or not and if the "Install MCL-Net as a service" option is checked or not) your access to MCL-Net V4 may differ:

 

If the "Start Menu and Desktop Shortcuts" option was checked and the "Install MCL-Net as a service" was NOT, there are two options to start MCL-Net V4:

 

Option 1

Ex. For Windows 7 - Click to open the program list and, then, click the MCL-Net V4 entry .

 

Option 2

Ex. For Windows 7 - In the desktop, double-click the MCL-Net V4 shortcut icon .

 

 

If the "Start Menu and Desktop Shortcuts" option was not checked and the "Install MCL-Net as a service" was also NOT checked:

 

Go to the MCL-Net V4 folder you selected during the installation process and double-click the "MCL-Net .exe" application file.

 

 

If the "Install MCL-Net as service" option is checked:

 

You do NOT need Start Menu and Desktop shortcuts ( do NOT check the"Start Menu and Desktop Shortcuts" option during the installation process).

This means that the MCL-Net V4 windows service will start automatically, on computer startup.

Also, the MCL-Net tray icon will not be shown.

 

 

If MCL-Net V4 was not installed as a service and you click a start menu or desktop shortcut or you double-click the "MCL-Net .exe" application file to open it, MCL-Net V4 will run minimized.
