Working with the Data File Processes Group

Process Purpose

 

Within MCL-Designer V4, all local files used in a project are designated as Data Files (see How to Work with Data Files). They can be found in the "Data Files" module (see Navigating the Data Files Module). The Data File group of processes includes specific operations that concern data files.

 

 

There is one recurring icon in these processes:

 

This icon (located on the upper right corner of properties windows) allows you to create a new data file. Go to Creating a Data File to see how to fill in the several options available.

 

 

You can use relative paths to refer the file(s) you want to use in your project. See Working with Aliases.
