Process Purpose

The "Enable NFC" process is used to activate the device's NFC reading capability within the MCL application.

It MUST be added to the application's workflow prior to the other NFC related options to prepare the MCL application for NFC operations (ex: the "routine in" of the screen where the NFC tag capture will take place).

This process is ONLY applicable to Android devices with NFC technology.

When you add a process, you are required to define its settings. This occurs in the process's properties window which is displayed automatically after having added the "Enable NFC" process.

If any subsequent edition is required, double-click the process to open its properties window and enter the necessary modifications.

Check the "Enable NFC" option to prepare the MCL application for NFC related operations such as NFC tag detection/capture.

If required, click to attach any relevant notes to this process. Click it and enter your notes in the resulting text box. These notes will be displayed in the corresponding "Actions" tab or "Process" window (in the "Notes" field) and in the "Developer Report".

Click to apply the selected option.

The added process is displayed in the corresponding "Actions" tab or "Process" window.
