Process Purpose

The "Set Default NFC Profile" process is used to define the NFC profile to be used for NFC related operations.

Add this process to the "NFC" action.

This process is ONLY applicable to Android devices with NFC technology.

This process implies the use of the "Enable NFC" process to prepare the MCL application for NFC operations.

Create the necessary profiles beforehand, if you intend to use customized NFC profiles. See To Create an NFC Profile.

When you add a process, you are required to define its settings. This occurs in the process's properties window which is displayed automatically after having added the "Set Default NFC Profile" process.

If any subsequent edition is required, double-click the process to open its properties window and enter the necessary modifications.

Check the intended option:

Set Default to

Profile

Select the appropriate NFC profile from the drop-down. If required, click to create a new profile or edit an existing one. See To Create an NFC Profile.

If required, click to attach any relevant notes to this process. Click it and enter your notes in the resulting text box. These notes will be displayed in the corresponding "Actions" tab or "Process" window (in the "Notes" field) and in the "Developer Report".

Click to apply the selected option.

The added process is displayed in the corresponding "Actions" tab or "Process" window.
