Introduction

 

The purpose of this user guide is to present this software development tool and to show its capabilities.

It will guide you throughout the process of:

 

Creating a project within MCL-Designer V4 and publishing it.

 

Designing the programs, screens and work flow that the operator needs to use.

 

Simulating and debugging a project on your computer.

 

Managing and publishing the project.

 

Downloading the project and/or programs to the device.

 

 

The following icons will appear throughout this user guide to assist you with quick references:

 

Note Icon - Represents further information about a specific topic.

 

 

Tip Icon - Represents a "helping hand", an easier, faster, better way to do something.

 

 

Function Icon - Represents the practical purpose of certain choices displayed in the practical examples throughout this user guide.

 

 

Operator Icon - Provides the expected behavior of certain features in the working environment, meaning, relates to information for the operator handling the device/running the intended MCL application.

 

 

You can access a topic related Help by pressing the <F1> key. The displayed information is context related, meaning, you will be directed to the topic that includes explanations on the element that is on focus when you press <F1>.
