Navigating the Remote Database Module

The "Remote Database" module manages remote database profiles. To be able to use a remote database in a project, it is necessary to create the corresponding remote database profile. Creating a profile implies establishing a connection to the actual remote database and importing its structure, fully or partially, as required. You can create profiles in this module (see Creating a Remote Database Profile), in the "Remote Database" tab of the project's properties window and in most of the remote database related processes (see Remote Database).

No matter where they are created, the "Remote Database" module displays all the profiles being used in the current project.
