Overview

Project properties are set and edited in the "Project Properties" window which includes several tabs (ex: "Splash Screen", "Target Device", "System Preferences", "Screen Settings", "Keyboard Options", "Barcode", "Host/Aux", "Remote Database", "Web Service (SOAP)", etc.).

If your MCL-Designer is associated to an MCL-Mobility Platform account (via a subscription), you may have access to tabs that handle specific services that are included in your MCL-Mobility Platform subscription.

For instance, if your subscription includes a "Messagebox Service" and/or a "Business Analytics Service", the "Project Properties" window will display a "Platform Services" tab, so you can manage the active service's elements.

If you have an MCL-Designer (perpetual) licence, you will NOT have access to the tabs that refer to MCL services provided by our MCL-Mobility Platform.

It is only possible to change the properties of unpublished projects. See Publishing a Project.

To change the name of a published project, open it and create a new version. See Save Published Project.

As referenced in Navigating the Project Module, the “Project Properties” can be changed by clicking any of these icons. Each icon opens a specific tab of the "Project Properties" window.

When available, use (located on the upper right corner of the "Project Properties" window) to define different regional settings for each project language.

See To Associate a Regional Setting to a Project Language.
